I was trying out a few of these earlier today, I really didn't like the ultex but actually sounds decent here. There's a clear trade off between playability, tone and accuracy on runs.
I've been on the nylon standards for almost 20 years now, going to try the gator grip .71 for a bit and see how I get on.

Awesome demo! A lot depends on the guitar and strings as well. Different picks will bring out different qualities. I thought the Tortex sounded great.

Yes the 1.5 gravity pick that came with certain pedals. I love them and they last foreve. Classic standard. But when I ordered them from the company, they were slightly different. Too pointy I like the slightly rounder ones. So you can actually order the ones that come with these certain pedal companies.

picks do sound different. i did not recognize too much difference in your samples though, but this could be due to my audio equipment.
i use dunlop's big stubby 3 mm. never found a pick that sounded better to my ears.
lot's of nice high frequencies.

Picks made of wood, titanium, stone, bone, tusq, ... give even greater tonal variety. It would be great if you'd make a follow up video with these picks.
