As someone who was born and lives in the UK: crime is rife, housing is incredibly expensive everywhere, energy (electricity and gas) is expensive, the police service is non-existent, the roads are crowded and full of holes, petrol and diesel is expensive. There are over 7 million people on NHS waiting lists. The infrastructure is crumbling. About 30 years ago the cost if buying a property was around four times the average wage, now it is more like ten. And, It is getting worse. If I was young enough to emigrate, I would today. I would also advise anyone against coming here.

I am in UK since 2011 and Indian too - lived in UAE for 10 years before that honestly I feel UK is still best place to live - times are hard and it’s everywhere due to high inflation and cost of living - but I feel each individual is treated equally and given same right weather it come to gender, cast, education qualifications you don’t fell left out here u r free to express your views not like other countries where you cant talk again government if they r wrong - freedom of speech

Nowadays the 5 eyes nation especially UK, Canada and US are the most dangerous places to live for indian immigrants who leave india with similar kinds of issues. Australia, New Zealand are just ok to be safe.

I have been living in the UK for over 2.5 years and I am now working for the NHS. Forget the pay and the strikes! From the patients pov, I feel the NHS is an absolute joke!!! The standards are going down the drain soon and in a couple of yrs the NHS will disappear.

This is true for many people, but people underestimate how much money is in the uk. For many, life is still good, but for the poor majority it is really really hard. So an unequal picture depending on your circumstances
