In this video we take a look at the Canon EOS Gadget Bag 300EG - supposedly fits up to 2 DSLR camera bodies and 4-5 lenses. However, is it just too small?

I think you missed an important feature: you can flip it around your body while wearing it and you'll have perfect access via the zip, everything is secure and stays where it belongs.

I've recently bought this and have used it a few times while out.It is a Sling-Bag as mentioned below.  The extra strap allows you to secure it as tightly as you want and the little clip further secures the zipped flap - for example: when properly secured you can run with it on your back without worrying about your expensive kit falling out!I have configured it - moved the dividers - so that I can lay the camera on it's side and put my flash in the space above - for weight distribution.  It is a SNUG fit ... but reassuringly so as far as I'm concerned. The design allows you to rotate the bag from your back to your front - without taking it off such that the opening is right infront of you and provides VERY easy access. It is very comfortable and small enough that it doesn't get in the way.(Canon 7d with 24-70)Comments on the video:The OP *should* have put a camera in it and put it on because showing an empty bag is pretty much pointless. With reference to it being "girlie": What does that mean?  I am a six foot tall, fairly well built man.  Maybe I don't have the same self-image issues ... but I do not consider this "girlie", but rather big enough to carry my camera without being at all cumbersome.  Maybe I need to buy myself a huge Billingham bag and carry every accessory with me so I look more masculine.  ;-)

It has the zip on the side because you wear it on one shoulder and you can easily access all your stuff if you slide the whole backpack to the front. It's actually a very good backpack for a medium size camera body and a couple of lenses.

I LOVE IT!!! I actually thought it was worse, but seeing it now, I think it is super practical, I'm a girl, so I can put in over my back and carry my normal purse on the side, the opening being on the side makes it harder for someone to try and slip in, so I'll feel safer carring it around in crowds and it's super easy to just rotate and take the camera out quickly for a shot!! Obviously it's not perfect for usual carrying and storage but it's great on the go!!

It would have been nice to see you fill the bag with equipment. Just a DSLR with a lens on to get a better image of the size.

I tried this at the store with a Nikon D3100 with the 18-55 kit lens on the camera and it fits.

It was a special offer from Canon at time I purchased the camera.

Why didn't you put a camera and lenses in the bag so that I caould get an idea of its functionality??

Girly, joke, as said easy to swing round without taking it off, i have used mine for several years, a great bag, not girly at all. It now packs my r5 gripped and the rf 100 500. I wear this all the time, even gets used over my leather suit on my bike, and at high speed. Great travel bag

This is totally horrible bag for women! They forgot females can be photographers too and have breasts. That straps don't allow women to comfortable wear it. 😠 (I got this bag with new camera, but it's totally useless for me.) Totally worst idea to make straps like that. I already had backpack (but ordinary) with only one crossbody strap, but that wasn't so terrible like this.
