Such a great use of metaphor. I love the association between coming in crawling on all fours and being a bull seeing red. It's so consistently portrayed throughout the lyrics, like with the line about the china, too. You really don't see a lot of that in music, which is a shame because it adds so much to an already great song. Just passively processing the lyrics is its own journey that takes you through this entire relationship and the full range of emotions leading to this impassioned outburst of creativity and emotion. I'd say God bless you, but he already has.
