A clock, clockdivider and a simple mixer can give you all kinds of beautiful melodies. I added a quantizer as well. Isn't patching stuff together to make your own contraptions part of what makes eurorack fun and interesting? I know not everyone is the same, but for me it certainly is what's exciting about modular synthesizers.

next step: use a voltage controlled mixer modulated by very slow unipolar LFOs

I don't understand how this works. As in: I have not the slightest clue what's going on! But it does sound actually quite interesting. Maybe I'm confused by the various things I hear left and right, and the modulations make it hart for me to see how it works. The basic principle I do unterstand, but everything else I don't. A riddle … 😎
