So in the end, you can use whatever mirrorless camera you want based on your needs, and use adapter to get good lens. I'm still using my Nex5N for my channel and paired with canon and sony lenses. Still lovin' it. Will wait for the R50, and let see how good the autofocus is. I expect as good as ZV-E10. And if the price below ZV-E10, i'll grab one.

As far as 4K 60 goes, without IBIS, so always shooting with stabilizer; Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K or the Canon R8? Or rather spend that extra money and get the Sony a7iv

I would advise any beginner to save more money and get the R7 because in a year they will not feel the need to upgrade.

I personally didn't like the M50 when I was using one. I felt the manual setting abilities were limited when it came to video.

See I really like my m50 mk2. I paired it with the sigma 16mm 1.4 and I really enjoy it. It mainly is my streaming camera though as I do have a 5d too.

What worries me is that if the m50 is becoming the r50, is that m mount dead?

With the massive 4k sensor crop and the fps limit of 24, I'd pass on Canons content creator budget cameras. Sony and Nikon have better offerings imo
