very surprising to me, but after seeing the model, i have to agree. and you are correct, good effects can only carry a skin so far. its the same reason why some of the cosmic and dark star skins are in your worst skins lineup, because the designs of the skin itself are not compelling enough. and its the same here.

i feel like they missed the opportunity to make his covering poncho an animated display of the rainbow neon fire that marks the empyrean skin line. as it stands though? yeah, i can see why this is the worst.

one thing to note, is that the skin isnt even that bad, overall. the colors and the effects easily make this skin passable, even if it doesnt hold true to jhins design as well as others. and personally, i love the flat face, highlighted with the neon glare of facial features burned in with the foreglows fire.

Funnily enough this is my favorite Jhin skin because the effects are cool and the sound effects have so much oomph to them that makes it satisfying to use.

E-sports skins are a completely different ball game though especially the newer ones.

The best way to describe empyrian as a skinline is:
Champions with absolutely gorgeous seratonin-inducing visuals and sound, akin to a beat saber-style music video but average costume design.

Zac's probably my favorite but only because it reminds me so much of venom while also being a very similar skin to battlecast.

Although I agree with a lot of your ideas, I think the most important part of a skin is that your getting your moneys worth for making the theme “different” from the base. Complaining that the them doesn’t fit his original concept somewhat defeats the purpose, but maybe that’s just me.

I COMPLETELY disagree on DWG being bad, its building upon Jhin's themes perfectly. his mask looks like the face of a greek statue, something that was considered to be what a perfect human should look like, yet grey and devoid of any humanity, humans cant be perfect, only art can be "perfect". He also has the theme of angels, and what are angels? Something divine, beautiful and perfect that no human can comprehend or reach.
