Diamond and Pearl remake leaks are starting to pop up. There is a Pokémon 25th anniversary card that was released too early. Does this mean Diamond and Pearl are getting remakes?

What if they're Diamond and Pearl SEQUELS? They could have all the Sinnoh stuff we know and love while being able to create a brand new story, as well as giving us some of the things that have been introduced in the near decade and a half since they first came out. I am honestly terrified if they make a remake. The last remake (that wasn't a red, blue, and yellow remake) was not too bad, but that was already several years ago. And how big of a flop Sword and Shield became might just be the final straw

I genuinely don’t want gen4 remakes in gen 8. Atleast in 9 so they can get their stuff together

Honestly id rather Have Atlus develop a Platinum remake game, the whole region of Sinnoh lends itself very well to a Megami Tensei esc game with the whole themes of creation and religion. Not to mention its literally the region that introduced the concept of GOD into the pokemon world.

To be honest...considering we’re entering the 25th and the fact that last anniversary we got an all year mythical event...considering Gen 8 will probably exist until 2022 or 2023 I feel they might do something both annoying and kinda ambitious...they might port Gen 1-7 on switch, like Ports instead of remakes, but like the mythical thing it’ll be spread out so like Jan-Feb Gen 1 comes out then Feb-March Gen 2 March-April or May Gen 3 May-June Gen 4 June-July Gen 5 July-September Gen 6 September-November Gen 7 with December having a rerelease of Gen 8 games that are more expensive having the DLC in them from the start to be the Christmas hot item of 2021...it feels like it might happen considering how easy it would be though they could just rerelease the mythicals yet again in 2021

What really hurts is that the starters are more likely to get gigantamax form and not a mega, what a perfect way to make me not want to play your game if that happens

-HMS Removed or something like ride pokemon that help you or the "Secret Techniques" from Let's Go
-MINDY ACTUALLY TRADING YOU A HAUNTER THAT EVOLVES
-The return of megas
-Removal of Dexit (Hopefully)
-Actual animations
-Sinnoh's very own Wild Area?
-BATTLE FRONTIER. PLEASE.
-Some way to legally get Arceus in this game
-New Megas (Or even Primal Reversions!)
-Distortion World

My friend told me a few months ago he saw the official Pokémon twitter said it said that diamond and pearl remakes are coming in spring 2021 but that may have been false

oh no i remember being a little gremlin and searching every route and house to encounter the hidden pokemon in pokemon diamond like heatran i really hope they don´t cut out the hidden pokemons and replace them with misterious gifts
