My tip for anyone attempting to get the perfectionist trophy: only do one or two levels a day, if it takes a long time to beat a level take breaks. This will significantly reduce the amount of frustration you'll have to endure and you'll still get the trophy (it'll just take a little longer)

18:35 an advice for beginners: before trying to get the perfect relic in any level, complete a normal run breaking all the crates and see if you missed any. There are a lot of hidden crates in this game and managin to get to the end of a level without dying only to find out you missed a crate is terrible.

The crazy part is that this used to be even harder because your hitbox in the riding sections was comically small, making is really, really easy to miss boxes. Like in the part at 15:42, he would have missed at least one of those boxes if he had been doing this at the launch of the game. The load times for the levels also were significantly longer, making each reset of a level a punch in the gut.

I also did it. Took me more than 100 hours. What helped me was my attitude. When your goal is to become better at this game and not to beat it you don’t rage much and really appreciate small progress

12:15 Actually no. The perfect relic only requires you to get all crates without dying. You're allowed to skip wumpa gems and hidden gems and in fact I'd encourage anyone to ignore them as they make the run harder than it needs to be. After getting the perfect relic, you can revisit the level to get wumpa gems and hidden gems without the fear of dying.
