Big Block Twin Turbo How Much Horsepower?

After a 3 year build to finish my big block 454 twin turbo sleeper Ford Fairmont Futura we are finally done and ready to tune it under boost on the dyno and see if it will stay together and just how much horsepower and torque it really makes. We run in naturally aspirated on motor, then we go from 5psi boost to 11psi to 17psi as well as adjusting the ignition timing, How much power will it make and will it blow up?

the whole video I was rooting for the car to make FIVE HUNDRED horse power. So close but this isn't horse shoes. Seeing the baby goat running and take to hop sidewards was amazing.

Josh, I am so glad you said in the closing comments, 500 goat stomps at them rears is nothing to sneeze at. Even though them casings is sticky they are still not huge. Personally I think it could be a killer safe bracket car, 10-12 lbs of boost. safe timing and afr. Then the only thing it needs is lettered with the next drivers name...WaWa Express!!. Oh I learned something about the hummingbirds, if they come in to the garage like that, open the door all the way up because they won't fly down to get out. Great job on the rescue, I do love the birdies. Hopefully this old man can meet ya'll someday if you get towards Iowa. That would be IMPECCABLE!! Blessings ya'll

Josh, please don't be down. That is a very healthy motor. Try and find or make long tube headers.. I Had a 440 in a '73 Charger. Found some 2" hooker headers that he'd to be assembled. Some of the tubes curved around the frame in the wheel wells. After that, The thermo quad carb just couldn't be jetted enough but a Holley 950 brought it back. Chin up buddy.

👍👌👏 Well done! 2) Josh, I definitely don't understand what your problem is. 👍👌👏 You've built an absolute torque monster and that's what's definitely more important than high horsepower numbers. And, by all means, 500 hp at the whe... uhm... casings is anything else than a bad result. Neither is 118 mph in second gear (if I remember correctly)! So far it seems to be a really sturdy engine. Maybe you will even bring this car back home from the drag strip race without having damaged it. 😁 ;-) 😋😜👅😘😇😘 I'm absolutely sure that this car will do well at the drag strip. 3) The dyno expert is a really nice man. And he resumed what the most important thing was = not gaining even more hp but rescuing the life of the lil' cute hummingbird! 💚
