Fun fact about John Doe design, He is based off a script that's well... John Doe. It was used as a script by exploiters to troll unprotected roblox games that had backdoor access to.

Additionally there will be another popular roblox script added as a killer, well was planned to. Their character was Rook but it is a "Star Glitcher" script from old 2016-2018 days.

It should be noted that Coolkid didn’t always look so terrifying. The Specter, which is the in lore entity that’s keeping everyone in this purgatory, tricked Coolkid into becoming a killer, by giving Coolkid (and John Doe) a new appearance to create more fear in the survivors. Coolkid however doesn’t view his new form as terrifying and he’s also further tricked into murdering innocent people by having his vision altered. He sees the rounds as games of *Tag* . He sees survivors running away as them simply playing tag and not wanting to be tagged. When they die, he sees them as falling asleep. That’s why Coolkid sounds like he’s having fun and is genuinely confused why his father is upset.

Also something else interesting, Jane Doe used to be a survivor skin and would have been a counterpart to John Doe with her own LMS theme when against John Doe… however she was removed and is instead planned to be an important lore NPC who runs the skins, points, and gamepass shop in the future. She is physically blocked from entering the trials yet she was taken alongside with John and refuses to leave without him. To her horror, John wasn’t only separated from her, but also transformed into a monster who doesn’t remember who she is. She is sided with the survivors as she’s horrified what had happened to John and hope the survivors can find a way to set them all free.

EDIT: due to a poll where devs ask the community who the next survivor should, and the community voting Jane Doe in overwhelming favor, AND the devs reiterating that the game is in Alpha and things are subjected to change, it’s possible that Jane Doe may become her own survivor with her own unique perks, LMS, and potential voicelines when encountering John. It’s also confirmed that 007n7 will be getting unique faces, animations, and voicelines when in a LMS with regular Coolkid.

Fun fact: if 007n7 is the Last survivor standing while c00lkidd is the killer a special LMS theme will start playing called "plead/fathers plead"

Fun fact about c00lkidd: during his chase theme "ready or not" you can clearly hear spooky scary skeletons for some seconds (not the original tho, just the tune) that is a reference of how c00lkidd would put a spooky scary skeletons remix in a server he hacks
