At Home DIY Coffee Hair Mask | How I 'Dye' My Hair With Coffee

Disclaimer: This is not a tutorial, I just wanted to show you how I tint my hair darker naturally at home!
I do not recommend this method to anyone with White/Grey, Blonde, or Red hair. I only recommend this to people with brunette hair.

Recipe:
1. Fresh brewed coffee (cooled)
2. Instant coffee powder
3. Conditioner (I used @CocoEve Like a Virgin Hair Mask 👇
4. *OPTIONAL* Cacao powder

An additional benefit of coffee other than the rich color, the caffeine will boost hair growth !

An idea to prevent the crusty hair after application.. try damping your hair with a spray bottle then apply the paste then cover with a plastic wrap.
Damp hair absorb better and will prevent hair breakage 👍🏻

Also, you can play with the colors using this method . If you want a goldish brown color, you can substitute the brewed coffee with brewed chamomile ! Or substitute with dried hibiscus if you want a redish brown !

Hey, I know this video is quite out dated, but I need help. I dyed my hair dark colours and was upset and dyed them back, however, my hair turned light brown with brass instead of dark brown like how it naturally is. Will the coffee make my hair more coffee black?
