We're not going to have to worry about rust or corrosion. It's going to come with all the necessary hardware to get it installed. It's going to allow you five inches of adjustability to adjust your height, whether you want it a little bit higher, a little bit lower. This handle is going to be 36 inches tall by 27 inches wide, so we have plenty of handle that we can grab onto to help us getting in and out of the camper, whether we're on the ground or coming out of the camper. This handle is going to be a stationary handle, so once you put it in place, it's going to stay. It's not going to fold up.

However you can leave it on and fold your steps up inside when you're in storage or when you're storing your camper. Keep in mind if you have furniture like we have here, we have a couch there. This handle will not be able to stay on because it hits the couch, but they make it easy. They have clevis pins, you pop the pins out, you can pull the handle out and set it inside the camper until you're ready to use it the next time. Installation process is pretty simple and straight forward.

As I mentioned before, it's going to come with all the hardware. One of the brackets at the top is going to mount directly through four of the holes that holds your locking plate in place. You will have to drill four holes for your new bracket at the bottom, not that big a deal.Once you get it installed, it's very sturdy. Again, it gives you something to grab onto to give you that extra stability when walking in and out. Maybe you have mobility issues.

But if you tie this with this one, now you have a handle from the top down to the ground. Keep in mind that this hand rail is only going to be designed for the quad steps or the triple steps. It will not work with the just the double steps. Now that we've gone over some of the features, let's show you how to get it installed. To start our installation, we're going to take a 3/8 socket and an eighth inch Allen bit, and we're going to take off these four bolts. We will not be reusing these. Your kit comes with new hardware. Next, we're going to take one of our bolts. We're going to put on a lock washer and take this bracket, or one of them, going to line it up with the holes, pass it through. We're going to put a flat washer and then a nut on the other side. We're going to do the same thing with the three remaining holes.Going to take a 5/16 socket on the head side, 3/8 socket on the nut side, we're going to tighten our bracket into place. We'll slide our handle into place. We're going to take two clevis pins. We'll push them into the handle. This is going to help block it in.We're going to slide on our other bracket. Next what we're going to do is we're going to count the holes at the top. One, two, three, four, five. We're in the fifth hole. One, two, three, four, five and the match up the holes and then we're going to mark each one of these until we can drill them out. Move our bracket, or move the handle, and we can drill those holes. We'll take a 13/64 drill bit and drill the holes out.And we're going to repeat the same process for installing this one as we did on the other one. Same hardware. And then tighten them into place. And we're going to have a backer plate. We're going to use the same combination of hardware, but instead of coming from the inside out, we're going to go from the outside in. There's going to be pre drilled holes that we're going to line it up with. Take our bolt, pass it through, and then inside we put flat washer and a nut. Once you get all of your hardware tightened down, go ahead and insert your handle. We're going to have three holes to allow us to put a pin in. This one here, we'd have to go this way. We use the bottom two and we can go from the top down. Like that.Once you got everything in, you got your rail installed, you're ready to go. That's going to do for a look at and installation on the solid step handrail on our 2019 Jayco Eagle fifth wheel.
