I am SO grateful to see people saving the Amazon in stead of burning or cutting trees. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the wonderful people involved in this enormous task. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Much better use of Robots than those Robot Dogs they've got tormenting Black neighborhoods.

It's surprising how this little robot gets the job done with a strain financial budget behind it but if NASA lends a hand then the Amazon will truly be saved. If they spend billions on a rover then one can wonder how well they can do here on planet earth!!

Another victory for AI/robots vs. humanity. Now they can save about $10 per day not having to pay a hungry Peruvian to plant the seeds. Good luck finding a local to do the maintenance on the robot though.

We must transition toward a plant based diet to fight against deforestation.

Amazing for the forest. But Roberts will do away with humans working too!

call me a skeptic... but this seems utterly pointless

nevermind that we already have automated planting technologies that I would imagine are far more efficient (direct hydroseeding or vacuum tray seeding)... but how is replanting going to disincentivize the deforestation from happening in the first place?

economics is the problem and solution

pay those people to maintain the integrity of the rainforest, if that is what we value
