Brilliant. The drummer has listened closely to the detail of John Weathers' playing. I have always thought this piece shows what a tasteful and madterful musician John Weathers is.

Man do I love that Jolana bass! My first electric guitar was a Jolana Diamond, which had been badly painted over, and which arrived in horrible shape. I had it refinished as a goldtop, and I really liked it! A superb cover and production, congratulations!

Just like "Raconteur, Troubadour" - you guys did a fine job.
Just one point - it is hard to match Kerry´s singing. His voice alone is very unique and fits perfectly into this song.

When I first heard "Aspirations" back in the seventies - and I already had heard many tunes from Gentle Giant at the time - I sincerely thought : ok, now I understand - they can do just everything I´m able to imagine and I can expect from them anything I´m not able to imagine. A music cosmos without any limits.
It was an almost heavenly idea derived from this truly heavenly beautiful, shining song.

I admit that may sound heavily over the top. But the truth is - I wasn´t stoned at all.

I'd say this is pretty much the best GG cover I have heard. I love her voice, it sounds just as good as Derek's did in the original. In fact this and the original almost seem equal in quality, but with the option of a female voice. You should be proud of yourselves helping to preserve and spread the prog rock sound for the next generations. Thank you!
