This video helped me to fix Toshiba Satellitle C660 black screen problem.

Before I found your video I had a rough idea the problem was related somehow to the screen cable but i didn't know what was had happened to it ..
then tried to put the flash light in front of the screen (knew that from other video) and I did see that the screen is actually working but very dim ..
Then I searched and searched to how solve the problem and then I found this video and it was enough to do the trick :)

Many thanks. I changed the screen cable and had good connections or so I thought, had dull backlight on screen..re- plugged in with success, although I it only worked by unplugging and replacing the connection to the MB.

I've never had a led back lit one fail, but the old ccfl ones can fail from a dead tube/inverter or missing 19v supply.
You forgot the tape on the plug, yoooou bad man he he :-D

Have a question for you! I have Toshiba a500 1gl I series model. One day was working fine till one day I power on I hear pop where screen is and smell I look and saw inverter burnt so I order new inverter and went to plug in and now no view image or light powers on then after 2 to 3 mins fan speeds up then shut off maybe a fuse but where ?
