Google Pixel 9 // The Best Pixels Ever!?

After taking a look at the new Googel Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL, I'm very encouraged by the build design, the performance, the colors, and my first impressions with the phone. I am looking forward to reviewing the Pixel 9 Pro phones!

They feel amazing in the hand. Went to best buy the day after the event and it feels really good, the best I've felt in a long time from Google. Pre-ordered Pro XL trading my S23 Ultra at BB at a good deal.

I'm going from the Pixel 6pro to the 9pro and I'm really looking forward to it. On the one hand the size, on the other hand the design progress (the 7 and 8 were not groundbreaking in design, but merely an optimisation of the 6)

I didn’t like the camera bump not blending into the frame to start with but it has grown on me quickly. I think they look freaking good

The phones look really nice but one problem I still have with Google is the search bar. You can't say a phone is fully customizable when you can't move something from your home screen. 💯🤟🏽

I'm using a pixel 7 and I think it feels premium. I actually went back to it because of that mix of durability and premium. Now definitely looking forward to the pixel 9 or 9 pro. I like the smaller phones.

I never jump on the latest model on anything (I’m a thrifty Asian dude) but had to jump on this and upgrade from my 6 pro. With a $450 trade in and $100 in Google points incentive, I couldn’t pass it up. Got the regular 9 because it seems to me the hardware is just not that different unless you’re into photography

I'm going to give it a couple months before considering to upgrade to pixel 9 pro and see if they drop the price promotionally because I jumped the gun on the pixel 7 when it released and paid the original price before they started dropping down to like 400-500 dollars, which I regret not waiting. But I'm also waiting to see who releases a better phone as I'm not a fan of samsung or apple iphones

I have bought the base versions of the Pixels since the Pixel 7 (my first Pixel device). Recently I was facing an upgrade on my Pixel 8 and I could get the regular Pixel 9 after trading in my P8 and paying some extra money. Instead I decided to go with the Pixel 8 pro. I got it on sale brand new through Best Buy at a $500 discount here in Canada. If I wanted this same form factor or even the regular Pixel 9 pro, it would equate to much more money and for me it made more sense to go with the 8 pro as an upgrade. So far I have no regrets. I will consider going with the 9 pro XL when the 10 arrives if it turns out to be worth it, but I'd rather wait and see and get discounts than pay the original full asking price.

I was a fan of the 8’s look because we always have iPhones too in our household but I will make sure to go to a store and physically pick u a 9.

I was filming an airshow with my Pixel 8 Pro with an external Zoom H1n mic connected and oh boy was it cooking. I recorded about 30 GB of 4K footage and it was a joy to use and I have few complaints about the device. The Pixel 9 range do look good and I am especially looking forward to the Pixel 10 line up next year when I can upgrade. I have been using a FitBit Charge 6 but I would love to get the Pixel Watch 3 and the Buds Pro 2 soon. However, what I would really like to see is a new Pixel tablet and maybe a new one will come next year with the TSMC made Tensor G5.

I have not even seen the phone in person but I pre ordered on day one, Google phones are always innovative.
