No comparison between the Chinese Navy and the Indian Navy. No one is talking about India at all.

Chinese warships they are docking in Colombo port. Not India port. Why is India so worried?
If you are so worried, you better start calling your Umerican master and report to them.

Isn't Sri Lanka an independent nation? Does she need a third party's approval to welcome any ship to her port?

There is no comparison between Indian and Chinese Navy. India should focus in building more toilets, schools, hospitals and railways. Stop acting like a great power when it can’t even beat Pakistan.

Three battle ships of china vs one of Bharat in sri lanka potentially a serious threat. Seems China is trying to surround Indain strategic naval assets so close to main land security assets as well

Competition between China and India in the Indian Ocean region is unavoidable, given the strategic importance of the Indian Ocean to both countries, i.e., about 95% of both countries' trade (by volume) is transported via sea routes.

China has also been building a network of naval bases and commercial facilities to connect mainland China to Port Sudan, a port city in the Red Sea of eastern Sudan. India and others perceived this network as China's attempt to encircle India, which China denied.

Whether China attempted to encircle India or not, the country's maritime influence has definitely expanded under Xi Jinping's leadership. This has unsettled not just New Delhi, but also several Western capitals.

Competition is inevitable. I think what is more important is that both countries exercise restraint and manage competition to avoid any kind of escalation that may jeopardize regional stability and security.
