I need to answer my phone. This is part of my job.

But I've noticed that if you give the full spiel. "Thank you for calling the company name. This is so and so; how can I assist you?
They frequently hang up, and if they continue, I usually respond with "this is a business number, please take me off your list" and hang up.

That way, you don't miss important calls that you don't know the number for.

Having a script also helps with my social anxiety when I have to answer the phone.

So win-win!

In my country, there are reports of a scamming organization operating out of Cambodia. It's alarming to note that many individuals have fallen victim to these scams due to the scammers possessing highly accurate information about them. Additionally, I've heard that some of these scammers face punishment if their scams are unsuccessful. This situation demands serious attention.

I rarely get calls but when i do, if its
1: somebody dronning on about something
2: a robot
3: a language i don't understand

I hang up. They can do anything with my phone number other than sell it to be put on other lists.

I used to answer with "yes hello" and immediately stopped once i learned that scammers can edit the call to make it sound like you say yes to their offer.

I stay silent because I'm waiting for them to talk first, but now I know why they just hung up 😂😂 I'm from Chile and this video still applies, watch out for scammers guys! your bank wont protect you every time!
