Baby Lock Standard Zipper Foot

Показать описание
The Standard Zipper Foot comes with most Baby Lock sewing machines. Because it has 2 positions, you can stitch up both sides of your zipper in the same direction. The toe of the foot is narrow for more visibility and precision. Adjust the needle to either the right or left to sew both sides of your zipper easily. You can also use it to attach piping or decorative cording. This is the best sewing foot for inserting zippers, snap tape, and more.

I am using a Babylock Molly (I think it is now called Zeal). To keep the needle from hitting the zipper foot, the white wheel at the top, used to adjust the stitch width, is turned to the 0 (zero) position.

Was the zipper attached first with a bias tape, or baste stitched?

I came because I don't know how to "move the needle to the desired position." I put on the zipper foot, started sewing, and the needle broke because it hit the zipper foot in the middle. this video is not helpful.

The zipperfoot is too wide at the base, third party foot works much better.
