STP in there prime couldn’t be stopped. Whole band is feeling the music as a cohesive unit, Scott looks like he’s having a blast & they were cranking out classics left & right at that time. Hate what drugs did to my favorite 90’s artists.

Letterman was always very supportive of STP… he was definitely a fan

Robert Deleo is such an underrated player. He's a demon on bass

I don't wanna be the type to say I was born in the wrong generation, but man, I would've loved to live through the whole grunge explosion in the 90s. Nirvana, STP, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Mudhoney... Alternative rock at its prime.

Today's music needs Scott Weiland's dancing

The best front man in the 90’s. One of the best frontmen in rock n roll.

Hard to believe Scott has been gone for almost a decade now. R.I.P. legendary voice.

Great band! Great decade of my teen to young adult years! LOVE STP! Their music was so diverse and Scott was one of the great frontmen of rock bands! Miss him his voice and the whole STP coolness! It was great time for music!

Jeff Gutt sounds "just like Scott" until you actually hear Scott and then you realize that voices are all totally unique and no two are identical. Scott is a legend and can never be replaced but Jeff does are far better job than anyone else I've seen thus far.

Literally burning the place down with the break and jam at 1:40. One of the tightest and most powerful performances I've seen on Letterman.

Hey shout out to the Kick Ass CBS Sound Engineers who put this live mix together for Late Night with David Letterman by the way. The drums are so tight and punchy, and the overall sound is Crushing. It sounded like a metal head fan was in charge of the audio because this is one of the Loudest television studio performances I have Ever heard. It's up there with Living Colour on Arsenio Hall. It's *almost* better than the album version (it would have been a tie with harmony vox). The performance on its own was Peak STP, too. That band came to New York City to rock their face off, and they did.
