Spread Triads on Guitar | New Way of Playing Chords

Today I want to show you a new way of considering chords and triads on guitar with the concept of spread triads vs closed triads.
The triad is the most basic chord in music.
When you play a basic C major chord (as well as any other chord) you are playing a triad, a set of three notes from the major scale. The first note is called root note, then the 3rd and 5th are added to complete the chord. 
A triad of C major will have three notes C, E and G. You can play these three notes in any order.  
There is a very creative approach in which one of the note of the triad can be played one octave higher. This approach is called "Spread triad".
I want to show you how they work!
We will be playing spread triads over a very simple chord progression in C major. 
For some of you this is a new concept so take it step by step and practice one chord shape at a time.

Another great video! I like these videos where you're not actually teaching us finger-style drills (which can be quite boring), but not proper songs either (which can be quite long and as a beginner it's sometimes difficult to know which songs to choose). I've favorited these short 20 - 30 second melodies and chord progression videos that you've uploaded recently, slowly going through them one by one until I'm confident with them, and indirectly learnin some music theory along the way. Jus, good stuff man, will recommend your stuff to fellow learners at my stage!

Great video! Just one question: how can I stop making that metallic sound on the strings when I change chords along the neck of the guitar?
