SMuFF PoC - Continuous printing (3D Printing)

In this time lapse video I'm testing a new Proof of Concept (PoC) for multimaterial printing without the need for purging or a purge-tower.
The idea behind is to have a slicer post-process, which - if possible - relocates tool changes (Tx) within the GCode produced by the slicer.

This procedure sure needs some fine tuning and the model seen here has been optimized for testing, although, as you can see yourself, it basically works.

The model was printed on an Ender-3-Pro using the SMuFF (5 materials), the Relay-Board option, Wiper option and the Filament-Cutter. The Filament-Cutter works just fine and prevents you from dealing with bulged filament. It also increases the speed of tool changes. One tool change was accomplished in around 30 seconds.

I love this project. Too bad future designs aren't available any more. You made it clear at the beginning of this project that it is challenging and only for experienced users. Great for those who want to tweak their 3d printer. Still great concept and thank you for your effort and being stubborn. Those who are/were stubborn made the biggest inventions.
