Damn honestly if my 2023 r3 didn’t have some mods on it I’d totally trade it in for one of these right here.

Also the inverted forks was added to the r3 on the second generation. Changes the whole feel of the bike

For me, the biggest thing is the built-in phone charger. That means I will be able to take it on much longer trips with my phone navigation without having to install an aftermarket charger on my 2016 R3.

When the R3s hit the showroom, you have to do a first ride review. Yamaha states the acceleration is more linear across the rev range and the ergos are tweaked. If true, many of us may prefer the higher rev range necessity of the gen-2s.

Yamaha redesign The R3 but could have integrated the front indicators into the fairing. They look odd sticking out each side.
