What's happening in Chapter 29?

Safiye Sultan and Kösem Sultan are coming face to face for the last time! The great rivalry between the two sultans ends in a way that amazes the whole palace! When Sultan Osman comes face to face with the janissaries, he returns by leaving his expedition halfway! Sultan Osman, who wants to take the power of Kösem, sends Kösem from the palace! Safiye Sultana, Sultana of Sultanas, was such a majestic and strong woman in real life. Her actress really brought that regency and power, she may be my favourite actress. She always had such an interesting and complex character i couldnt hate her at all. Her love for power and seemingly no weaknesses or soft spots contradicting all her longing and mourning for her children and her friendship with Bulbul was so well done, well written and well executed. Adored her.

Osman came to a very sticky end, but that shot in the series of a nine-year old Murad protecting his siblings with his wooden sword is heartbreaking! No wonder he was later known for his cruelty! Not even Selim the Grim had had such a childhood under the long reign of his father Bayazid II.

osman kept blaming kosem for everything but actually it was his arrogance which brought him to this situation. he tried to replace everything, broke rules for self but tried imposing old rules on others, which obviously proved disastrous.
