Pope Francis came the closest he has yet to implicitly criticizing President Vladimir Putin over Russia's invasion of Ukraine, saying on Saturday (April 2) a "potentate" was fomenting conflicts for nationalist interests.

The main military developments of the last days of fighting in Ukraine were the partial withdrawal of Russian troops from the Kiev and Chernihiv regions and their advance in the East of the country, taking full control of the strategically important town of Izyum in the Kharkiv region.
British-made long-range artillery and anti-ship systems, which the UK has promised to Kiev, will become legitimate targets for Russian troops if delivered to Ukraine.
Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said last week that more “lethal aid” will be sent to Ukraine, including longer-range artillery and anti-ship system.
Prior to that, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson promised to provide Ukrainian forces with 6, 000 missiles as well as Starstreak MANPADs [man-portable air-defense systems], in addition to the 4, 000 NLAW and Javelin anti-tank missiles already supplied. Shipments of the Starstreak system have already arrived in Ukraine.
The UK has been leading Western efforts to support the Kiev government side by side with the US. Britain hopes that Western military support will eventually lead to the failure of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, which started on February 24.
The Russian military has already destroyed or captured several shipments of Western-supplied weapons, including British-supplied NLAW anti-tank missiles.
In his interview with TASS, Kelin noted the illusory perception of military actions in Ukraine in the UK. According to the Russian diplomat, the British media have been relying mainly on “overly positive” reports of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and the leadership of Ukraine.
The UK’s decision to provide military support to Ukraine will likely have a negative impact on the Kingdom’s relations with Russia for the long term!!!

Tell em Pedro strengthen up the faithful for what must be done as you said to children..".bear up, if war breaks out be messenger's of peace "... neither of the children seemed to fear this aspect, but at least you tell it as it is and won't water down the situation, I know pope Francis is not a man of doctrines etc though he knows them, but he would rather be spontaneous from the heart ... enough of praying for the geo/ecological enbetterment of wich sure time has certainly come to turn and strengthen the faithful within with the charisma ure former order enjoys through the holy ghost....the decernment of good and evil ...to recognise the root of the forces that pull at our hearts and always follow the good spirit, the pope being of a special kind must ensure he practices his spiritual prayers so people close to him should remind him of this as its central to who he is .
