If we lived in a world where careers in the arts and entertainment were stable and careers in medicine, law and business were unstable would any of your choices change? Alice lives in a world where her dream of being a doctor is unstable and risky, but with the help of her mentor and inspiration, she is gets the courage to take the path less traveled by.

Made by, and in honor of, those who are constantly fighting to follow their dreams. #jprecovery

look, i don't care what anybody else says, you guys are fantastic. i thought the acting and the script was fine. the thing is that you guys showed something that hits home to me. im going into my freshman year of college and i have no idea what i want to be. Pharmacy makes a lot of money, but I've never been interested in science. I passed and I did well in chem but it's not something that really, you know, hits me.
Teaching is one of the other options. My teachers say that I'd be a good teacher. I want to make a difference but teachers make barely anything and I'm basically in the same problem as Alice.
It really is a headache to pick between something you believe is enjoyable/making a difference in society, or enough to survive yourself, because its not just your own wellbeing but your family's too.
You guys definitely did make me think. I havent changed my choice, but youre definitely making me reconsider my options. Thanks for that. You guys portrayed it really well. it's nice to know that someone understands

this is such an inspiring short movie. I'm going through something the same right now, i was taking up a course for three years which i thought i like not until i get a job and has been working with my school and work for couple years that i figured out it is not what i like. In my situation i get pretty stressed a lot especially when school and work get really demanding. I'm so into arts people it's just a hobby but it's more than just a hobby to me. I just made a serious decision, i dropped all of my subjects this semester and I decided to pursue my passion. this movie is really touching and moving at the same time. this even more gave me courage to fulfill my dream and live my dream in the future. I'm more than stoked for it to happen. kudos! for making videos like this! keep inspiring people.

This shorts reminds me of my dad. I should have to try better to let him see me graduate my med school and let him be proud of me. But he passed away this year 3 months before my graduation. I should have study well and less playing so i can graduate earlier. I hope people take their chances while they still can. If you keep waiting for the right time, There is always no the right time. The right time is coming when you dare to live your dream and makes it come true. Live your life to the fullest and be proud of it. Every decision we take will always have the good and bad side. It just depends on how you going to face it and go along with it. #DGIC

Liked the meaning behind this video but the acting made me cringe..

I like the concept with the flipped world but the acting can definitely be improved! For a short film like this, I think some things were dragged on too long and the acting could have a bit more emotions to it.

My mom and dad told me that I could be anything I want. They just want me to be happy. :)

think the script is really stiff -- loosen it up a bit, make it more natural!

My dream is to write something that people will want to read.

Unfortunately, the short was pretty much exactly what I feared it would be (see my comment below the trailer). The twisted job statuses were apparently included only for the sake of making something "different". The whole plot was predictable, and imho, the death of Betty was a bit overdramatic. Sure, the message "follow your dreams" is a good one, but I think it was a bit poorly presented.
That was only the first time I didn't like a video from the JubileeProject that much, so I'm looking forward to the next one. :-)

The concept of this film has a good message but it seems to lack performance/execution. Betty's death was abrupt and made the film seem a bit rushed in getting the message across to the audience. If the film had been longer like the other previous films then I would've been more intrigued by these characters and appreciate the message more.

Also, sorry I have to point this out but those salary numbers are a bit confusing. Those numbers seem a bit exaggerated than what I actually know from peers and relatives (There's no way a nurse earns such a low salary and a painter earning 100k ).

Other than that, I love your fellowship series! Keep up the great work.

Relate. I know in reality, med workers earn more but I really wanted to be a Dermatologist or EENT specialist for a purpose. By college, Mom made me finish Music. I'm not sure why, she just wants. Taught for 3yrs, got tired of it & I want a way out. Today, I'm doing Multimedia. I couldn't even finish its 'readings'. Reading science books for me is like reading a story. I don't easily tire. I would want to fight for my dream, but I haven't taken pre-med. I'll be old then. I only got frustrated.
