Anybody else miss seeing those little numbers out beside Arkansas?

Truly the most underrated and unpredictable team in college football history. Proud to be a hog fan

I’m a younger fan but I’ve been raised a hog fan. Undoubtedly the most unforgettable moment ever for me was that 4th and 25 vs ole miss. Me and my dad watched the whole game and that game was so so entertaining to watch. So close the whole time and so much offense. Touchdown after touchdown after touchdown. Then we got ourselves into 4th and 25 in overtime. I thought it was all over. Then Brandon Allen passed it to Henry and as he was getting tackled I REALLY knew it was over. Then he threw it back and Alex Collins picked it up. He had so much room and as soon as he passed that 1st down line it was the best feeling ever. Then we won the game. Craziest most insane and most fun time I’ve EVER had watching football or the hogs. I’ll never forget that night.

Couple of things:

1. It's guaranteed, like clockwork, that Arkansas is going to have some insane 57-55 type game EVERY year. I love that.

2. There was a 5 or 6 year stretch in my teenage years where this team was as cool as it gets. I grew up a die hard college football fan in the southeast, but my household didn't really have any hardcore allegiances, so my criteria for bandwagon fandom was basically: "How fun are they to watch on TV? How fun are they on NCAA Football? How cool are the players?".. and the 2002-2007 stretch for Arkansas is still one I think about now as a 33 year old when I'm reminiscing about sports.

Freakishly talented Matt Jones getting into ridiculous games every other week and making some of the craziest plays I've ever seen. Then seamlessly transitioning right into that unbelievable trio of McFadden, Jones, and Hillis. Malzahn shows up as OC and breaks college football with those guys and the Wildcat. That OT win over #1 LSU is still one of the top 5 games I've seen in my life and there's a handful of plays from that one that are permanently etched into my brain.

I just think it's awesome that I'm by no means an Arkansas fan, can't recall ever even going into the state to be honest.. but I guarantee I'll remember those teams and names and plays for the rest of my life.

Michigan fan here. I do truly hope Arkansas football can improve since they hired Sam Pittman. We hope to face you sometime in the future. Maybe in a bowl game, who knows? Anyway, best of luck to you guys next season and beyond. I’ll be watching.

Watching this after all these massive wins this year is making me so proud of our team right now. A big win over Texas, breaking a 9 game losing streak to A&M, being ranked in the top 10 for the first time in a decade, becoming bowl eligible for the first time in 6 seasons, beating LSU in Death Valley! This team is so amazing, and I am so proud of Pittman, the coaching staff, and all of the players! WPS!!!

Needed more Darren McFadden and Madre Hill runs in this. And more Matt Jones.

Need to add both Cobi Hamilton 80 yard TD's against LSU in WMS.  The one right before halftime where the announcer said Petrino should take a knee then Mallett hits Hamilton across the middle, two LSU defenders knock each other on the collision and Cobi houses it.

Watching this in 2019 hurts because we haven’t had a good win since 2016 against TCU

Those Lou Holtz years were my favourites
Steve Little (now with God!), Ben Cowins, Ron Calcagni!
Super memories!

Sometimes we are unbeatable, the rest were below average. But those few times make it all worth it for the year that they put it all together for a championship!

maybe of the 21st century. First thank you for spending your time making this but too many 80's 70's and esp national champ season of 64 again, thanks for the efforts because as old as I get I hope and and mean really hope that we can reach back, come back and bring some noise not keep laying down.

As a Auburn fan. I am glad you didn't include the Fred Talley runs against us in 2002. Single handily the best rushing performance against us that I can remember.
