PART 1: NAVIGATION AND FILE HANDLING

In this video I want to show you the basics of the Linux command line interface. With this you will become a Linux Pro yourself. We will cover the following commands in the video:

cd - change directory
ls - list files in directory
mkdir - create directory
cp - copy files
mv - move files
rm - remove file and director (-r)
touch - create new empty files (change timestamp of file)
pwd - print working directory
clear - clear terminal
exit - exit terminal (crtl+d)

Sir, thanks a lot for your video series. I learnt the basics of OpenFoam from your videos, providing a series on Linux is very helpful. Please continue to disseminate such useful knowledge. I have a small request, could you make a video series on how to modify solvers written on previous OpenFoam versions to the later versions? What to look out for, what could be the possible red flags and how to debug the compilations?
