Christopher Eccleston's Doctor was so underrated. He did so much, he helped bring back Doctor Who, giving it a fresh new spin on it, a new take on the Doctor. And one of my favourite Doctor Who moments is Eccleston's Doctor, talking to Rose about the Earth spinning "and I can feel it".

He is definitely the one that sticks with me, the one who (until Capaldi) felt the most tortured of souls. He did a beautiful job, and a year was too short.

i loved eccleston as the doctor, he was so tortured and yet had the same quirkiness and alieness about him that we love, it was refreshing seeing the contrast. my favourite for sure :D
