Beaver Cleaver's pal Gilbert, on Leave It To Beaver, was played by Stephen Talbot. He went on to become a broadcast journalist and documentary filmmaker for PBS's Frontline and American Experience.

We never knew that Lyle Talbot was Stephen's father until we watched this video. We remember Lyle Talbot and, of course, Stephen, but never put them together as father and son.
