While it’s pretty impressive, what the Chinese do in the automotive industry - there won‘t be a Level 4 and espacially not Level 5 autopilot in 2025 😂
Level 4 maybe 2026 or 2027 by some brands, you can count on one hand.
Level 5 you probably won’t see before 2030 - of course there is always the chance of a breakthrough, which makes the models easier to train, for example, connected to a byrunning algorythm, which takes over in a untrained situation and uses the trained information, to transfere it on the situation and than evaluate the best steps to take for the needed solution of the problem.
At the moment, what isn’t trained fails immediately - so there are of course big boundaries you can’t crush.
That‘s one of the reasons Tesla failed in delivering its autopilot.
It’s a mistake to think enough data makes the car intelligent - there will always be a situation the car doesn’t know what to do. So it needs to be able to make decicions on its own, based on the training model.
But most didn’t even solve the problem of high quality data inputs- in situations with fogs, dust and snow for example.

In short terms: It‘s not that easy, like some companys are trying to tell.
Mercedes could be the first, or at least 1 of the first companys offering Level 4 in the market - it seems they are going to have the best cars in that field.
