Pretty obvious that the plus weighs 200 pounds less and has 25 more hp than the r8 spyder. It is and was faster in the video.

Remember...the spyder driver was alone while the plus druver had a passenger filming. This passenger added an unfair 200 pounds to the plus r8.

Both with no passengers....the plus would have pulled away much faster.

now iit's perfectly clear why that r8 plus is not performing good in other videos too..that video explain exactly why..it is a bit fu***d up or born bad.. i have a V10 plus and i got a v10 r-tronic before with a capristo ehaust..and already with that "old" r8 v10 configuration, the 458 italia from my teammate got serius troubles to go away..in fact we got the same performance ..tryed many times.. with the new r8 V10 plus, there is NO CHANCE for 458 to stay with me..and TRUST ME, we tryed all the contest..same thing for Porsche Turbo..only the turbo S blast me...why i say this? because there is quite big difference between r8 plus and a standard V10 s-tronic..even more with the spyder..TRUST ME me guys, i like alot your videos but that r8 plus is fucked up..and in this video (and in others) perform like a V10 s-tronic, NON plus..maybe one day it will be nice to come at your event and try to make some test with my R8 that, for sure, is born very well ;) thx for your videos and your work.
