There's no blood in Fedor's body, it's antifreeze. Dude went from being inches from being a paraplegic to breaking Randleman's arm in a cold 50 seconds. Just incredible.

One of the top highlights in all MMA. Two incredible bad ass warriors, a slam that would permanently disable 99.999 % of all humans(Randleman actually gets air slamming Fedor)a lightning fast reversal and victory for Fedor. RIP Kevin Randleman.

Went over the physics of this, if you watch the highlights at the end, Fedor breakfalled using his right hand landing and distributing the pressure over a larger surface area. This wasn’t luck. As a wrestler who does Judo, I can tell u this suplex was perfect, in fact Fedor defended the best move in all of wrestling (the suplex) with a simple Judo breakfall. In Judo this arm break fall is taught to all white belts as lesson #1, and even black belts warm up using break falls. So no Fedor did not get lucky, his instincts kicked in to do exactly what he programmed his body to do!

Gotta give Randleman some credit, that was one of the most beautiful and well exected suplexes EVER.  Feodor was lucky to have tucked this head in or he could of been a quadraplegic

I remember watching this fight years ago (2004-2005) with my brother(rip). Man, we both cried in shock.
We couldn't believe Fedor could take that suplex and walking out of the ring alive. And he managed himself to won this.
RIP Randleman. Crazy how time gone so fast.

say what you want about fedor not being in the UFC, but that suplex would have concussed 95% of all fighters in the UFC. Fedor used skill to relax his body to take that hit. Nobody would have been able to turn the situation around so quickly and submit Randleman so fast.

Randleman was a top 5 HW at the time, just came off the Cro Cop win, AND his dad just passed away. he was in #beastmode  Fedor took Randleman's best, and came out with the W. that was an impressive victory.

Fedor is cold as ice. Kept calm, tucked his head and rolled with the shoulder to keep himself from death or at the very least paralysis

Fedor's body position is an important factor in him being able to recover from the throw. If he had been tense, the impact would have been much worse and he may not have been able to recover as easily. Look how relaxed Fedor's body is as he hits the ground. It looks like he's sleeping... I heard Fedor say that he was able to recover from the throw because he was relaxed and not tensed. Tensing up during impact can add to the severity of the injuries that you sustain. It is important to try to remain relaxed and not tense up during situations like this. I've seen similar situations where people have survived catastrophic car crashes and jumps because their body was relaxed.
