This makes me so angry. I went 25 years ago when it was only a strictly had a no carbon footprint policy. Now with all these partiers, newscasters, generation young & dumb, can't even see your plastic and lighters and streamers floating around

🙄 This isn’t even news. Dust storms regularly hit the festival and have since it moved to Black Rock Desert decades ago.

I was in Palm Springs in 1984 when a sand storm came up. The power went out in half of the city and the police prevented people from leaving or coming in because of the conditions. It's a real thing and it's awful.
