the opening up of the port seal to my mind is the best most efficient mod! firstly the seal was to tight a fitting combined with the unnoticed fact that the bb in the mag are slightly out of line with the chamber, load the mag then look at the exit hole in the mag; the bb is about .5mm to high! combine this with to tight a hole in the seal and you get jams ! the jammed bb will have dents where it impacted the edge of the mag hole on exit. speaking as an engineer my assesment is this model crossman out of the box is streets ahead of the competition because it has a relatively simple action[fixable] unlike the sig mpx which is a nightmare of complexity and no spare part availability...if concerned about opening up port seal, just open to the depth of the bb which will at least give the bb the chance to exit into the seal successfully.

I just ordered my first Crosman DPMS SBR and I'll be referring back to this video after testing how it operates out of the box. I've heard this is a very fun airgun, but making it even more fun is.... fun. :)

I would really like to see you get a barra 400e and mod it!
A lot of people really like it, costs more up front but being its electric, you spend a lot less money shooting it over time, all metal except maybe the mag. seems high quality, and out the box has higher fps than the dpms sbr. but i would love to see someone take that thing to the next level and it seems like out of all the channels i have seen, you would be able to figure it out. I dont know much about internals and mods myself.... you kinda have me wanting that dpms to mod it based off what your sharing and make it nice... but that 400e honestly seems like a better one out the gate, and would love to see what its fully capable of with some good modifications!

I did all 3 mods today and got mine running again. Not sure that the e-clips on the barrel worked for me, it still wiggles around, but no worries it was only a couple bucks and I was already there anyways.

I just got the bigger mag for an Xmas gift brand new part now with the mods tested today n have my lower n uppeR stuck together because of the trigger pack froze up lol bit its rough to switch between

Pretty sure the point of the port seal is to aid in properly pressurizing when fired. Enlighten if I’m wrong.

Hey bud nice video anyway I’d like to know where on earth did you find a 25mm x 7mm x 1mm washer ? All I can find is a 25mm x 6mm x 1.5mm

I did the 25mm washer mod & reassembled. Now I can't pull the charging handle back. What simple trick did I miss in re-assembly?

Have you ever done more serious mods ? Ive considered switching out the barrel and modifying the mags to take pellets.
