Ukraine has attacked and damaged a third bridge in Russia's Kursk region, as Ukrainian forces continue their surprise incursion on Russian soil.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the aim of the operation is to create a buffer zone to protect Ukraine and to destroy as much Russian military capacity as possible.
But Ukrainian officials say they could achieve even more if it allies were to lift restrictions on the usage of long-range western missiles to attack targets deep inside Russia.
Kyiv has already been given weapons like the French-British Storm Shadow cruise missile, but allies have forbidden their use on Russian soil.
Zelenskyy has argued that the restrictions are the main reason Ukrainain forces haven't managed to fend off the advance of Russian troops on the frontlines in eastern Ukraine.
