I was just at Katz on Fri (4/7), and while the pastrami and corned beef were both well flavored, neither were tender. I've had much better sandwiches at other NYC delis, for half the price. The full sour pickles were spot on on, as were the rugalech.

I live in nyc and though the food is delicious, only some places are actually worth it for the price. I recommend pastrami queen instead bc it’s expensive af but the best sandwich I have ever eaten. It’s a huge pile of tender pastrami that just melts in ur mouth sandwiched between two slices of fresh sourdough bread. The other food there is fine but don’t waste ur money

I have went to 2/3 of the above and I do recommend the nonna Maria pizza and Eileen’s special cheesecake it is

Definitely agree with the Katz's pastrami sandwich, but I went with the full pastrami rueben: total cost of the day: NYC Marathon total.

Bleeker street is a tourist trap. Last two times I went. Burnt slices. No one speaks english but the cashier. They throw a fit if you ask to use the TINY restroom by the kitchen.

Katz is the best!! Kosher nosh in Glen Rock NJ has the best pastrami too!

Went to NY in October and made a point to go to Bleecker Street pizza.
We had not one but two slices of pepperoni pizza. It was delish 😋

You can get good pizza and good cheese cake anywhere! I wouldnt waste my time and money on these if I were in NYC. Instead i’d get something I cant actually get back home, like caribbean or mexican food.

Bleeker SO overrated, in my opinion. If you're in that hood in tht Village, do John's. The best, but no slices.
