Dewalt 18v brushless leaf blower | Dewalt DCM562

The Dewalt DCM562 is a powerful yet light leaf blower that will work using any Dewalt 18v XR battery. In tests this machine worked on full power for approximately 20 minutes using a Dewalt 5AH battery. Using a Dewalt 2AH battery the blower lasted for approximately 6 minutes on full speed. This machine is a welcome alternative to petrol blowers which are noisy, produce toxic fumes and also require maintenance and not to mention the difficult starting problems associated with petrol powered machines.
This blower weighs in at about 3.2KG which means it is light enough to use all day, providing you have enough batteries!

I am a big fan of power tools, but I think I would use a rake in such situation. It is cheaper, more quiet and you get a workout at the same time.

Dewalt is very good in allot of tool areas and pricey at the same time. I cannot imagine this being a good deal for the average consumer. Black and Decker comes to mind for a good value and at the same time very robust. I have one of their cordless weed trimmers for 3 years now with zero issues. The Yellow on Dewalt is for Caution in the price point. It is what it is...

I got to get one of those it's better than having to put petrol in or carrying around an extension leed for an electric one it would come in handy for lighting up heat beads or wood charcoal for the bbq

This is fantastic. I'm about to actually go to my front garden and rake the leaves! I wish I had this but I don't own and dewalt 18v batteries or tools. Great review as always, my I ask your opinion on leaf vacs?

I was thinking, would this be suitable for blowing crap out of a garage and stables?
Would surely be easier than trying to brush round everything, and would blow debris out of nooks and crannies.

Your review showed good use for one of these and they are useful if you have a large enclosed area.  I guess the cordless version is a cheaper alternative to a petrol blower. It always annoys me when you see muppets blowing the leaves out into the street or over onto the neighbours lawn/path.

lo bueno que las pilas ya traen indicador de carga las primeras pilas no traían y eso era lo que no gustaba no sabías si tenían carga o no cuando no la usabas al límite. Por otro lado se viene todo un cambio de las herramientas que eran a gasolina y muy pesadas a pila eso me gusta. Gracias.
