Will deserves to make some $ out of all the work he's put in for years (yes, I remember the early RV days) showing people what works and what is junk. I'm sure he's saved the community from tons of wasted money & possibly fires.
Also, I'm not sure why people are mad when things are out of stock - it's not like the distributor doesn't want to sell you a product. The fact that it says explicitly "out of stock" is better than a distributor not saying anything, still taking your money and giving excuses as to why it is not shipping.

Thanks Will, I built my system following your guidance 3 years ago with 3 group 29’s flooded lead @$90. Ea. Now the market is sort of settling and your recommendation (watched the tear down) I bought a SOK 206 and replaced the 3 lead acid. My system instantly became more capable. 600 watts of solar Renogy Commander 40 watt charge controller.

I received my 4 206ah batteries about a month ago. Still working on my van build and haven’t installed them yet. Got them to my door for $1029 each. No sales tax or shipping! Came in perfect condition charged to within 1/100 of a volt to each other.

Purchased an SOK battery in June of 2022. Started having problems with it charging and discharging (would not power the 12V system in my camper at all) in April of 2023. After going back and forth with tech support for two months, trying everything under the sun, they've finally agreed that the BMS has failed and a new one is on it's way to me.

FYI on SOK 100AH battery case size differences! I just ordered and received my 2nd 100AH SOK battery 5 months after the first. A few noted changes: Second SOK 100AH case is larger than the the one I purchased 5 months ago...First SOK box dimensions L=10.25", W=8" H=7.25", 2nd SOK box dimensions L=10.625", W=8" H=7.94". Internally SOK #2 looks well built but is now more difficult to service as the connection to the terminals is now a flat wide metal strip connected from the BMS to the +/- terminals via a bolt. There is just enough room after taking off the top cover screws to get to the fasteners if you want have a good look at the internals or test the low temp cutoff sensor. SOK #1 has better access. SOK#2 is too big to fit into the inside the camper battery box I made and deployed 5 months ago with SOK #1 with room for a second SOK #2 after saving up to buy...what should have been an easy 15-20 minute 2nd battery add will now turn into a battery box rebuild project. Oh well good thing I am retired and have the time.

I put two of these in my motorhome and they are excellent. It came with two group 24 lead acid batteries that only gave me 60 usable Ah. I now have 200 usable Ah, and don't have to worry about the batteries going dead if the RV isn't plugged in.
