Dynamic Favicon ReactJS Javascript Tutorial

In this video we will be using ReactJS to dynamically update a websites favicon/site icon. This can be done quite easily by using vanilla Javascript to grab the DOM element and update the href element to the new image

There are a number of reasons you might want to dynamically update your website or apps favicon. The first would be to notify users who might have switched away from your website to another tab. Another is that it's simply cool to do.
