People need to also remember the PS4 is at the end of its life cycle. A PS4 Pro with an internal SSD will still get you a lot of mileage. But PS4 Slim along with PS4 Fat are are at the end of their life cycles so stuff like FPS will struggle more as games get more graphically demanding with the new consoles. You can only do so much to make your consoles run like it did at launch.

I play on a ps4 pro and i made my brackground a single color, turned off notifications, turned on boost mode, but when i play some games the framerate is lower than 30 fps at some points. I played god of war 2018 and the big areas i got like 20 fps

i bought a ps4 slim 2 years ago, it worked well, but in online games it was fucked, a lot of fps drops, i did everythinh possible, watched every video, but nothing changed.I sold things, and blught a pc(without gpu and workd better in online games)
