"Before Became After" is a reunion album from the original Kansas II lineup, under their new name of Proto-Kaw. The Special Edition contains three bonus tracks - one new original song, a live version of "Belexes", plus a “single” version of “Words of Honor”.
"Greenburg, Glickstein, Charles, David, Smith and Jones" is a cover of a song by The Cryan' Shames from their 1968 album Synthesis.

Kerry is the best. He is truly an amazing talent that has been blessed by GOD. I am amazed every time I hear something new that he has touched. Q.A.R. is a great example of that.

Meredith was my student teacher in 1984 at MHS ;) So, So happy to see that he reunited with his bandmates! This album is actually Fantastic! Thanks so much Lynn! We all absolutely LOVED hearing about the early days of Kansas, in class. There are still so many of us that remember! What an amazing career! 🤩

Too bad AD and this band never saw the light of day like Kansas did. But at least we can enjoy this stuff now.
