A good alternative to biking socks for warm weather are boy scout socks. They do everything that riding socks do. For cold weather venture socks are good

multi-tools are convenient in that they can get u out of almost any jam in almost any situation. the Serfas st-17i co2 inflator is a great option at 115grams has spoke wrench, chain tool, torx driver, allen keys, flat and phillips head driver, and a CO2 inflator. A small profile makes it very portable. $45 most sites, there is a st-13 for $35 that most bike shops will carry.
