Hello! This time it was a delibrate choice for me being a bit late because I wanted to listen this song few times before getting here to share my thoughts😅.. as you know yourself (I think☝️) that Sólstafir definetily isn't THE EASIEST band to get into and honestly it took me some time with this song😅.. I still don't fully feel this because perhaps this was just a bit👌... very little bit messy and the rhythm was a bit difficult and not SO catchy!! Ofcourse I know that they are not a catchy band and they mostly bring out that kind of...🤔... how to put it.... Emotional, artistic, captivating songs SO that lack of catchyness wasn't an issue because I didn't even expect it😂😂...
Great quitarsounds again and very solid guaranteed unique Sólstafir sound which is just SO interesting to listen🤘.. Vocals were right on point again and it is very difficult to think Aðalbjörn to sing something completely different.. this is just the style for him👍..
But yeah, a long song and so much going on but the most important thing☝️, it didn't feel that long so I guess the song keeps you interested through the whole song🤘...
Maybe not the best song they have🤔... Not as epic as Goddess of the ages, or not as emotional as Fjara, or not as catchy as Silfur Refur, or not as depressive as Bláfjall, or not as captivating as Ótta.... But overall pretty good song as soon you can get into it🤘...
Looking forward the new album😅

Melechesh -Multiple truths next pls ! Its melodic death metal with oriental vibe. Great groove for a death metal band, lyrics and ancient sumerian thematic

This is like a modern metal Bathory. There is definitely lot of talent and passion in this. It's too much lyrics focused IMO.
