I love your videos, My father was one of the only Hmong Car dealers from 1998-2007 in Minnesota. He caught a stroke and and we sold his business since I was only 17 at the time and couldn’t run his business. He then pass away in 2020. I wish I could have taken over his business because everything you do with the auctions buy cheap, fix it, make profit. He was so well known to many minorities. He trusted everyone and from I remember he only had to repo 3 cars. He would sell a car for $5000, if someone only had $200 he would take that in and have his clients make down payments. Most times he would make them pay at least 1k but his generosity was like no other. He was the real No credit No problem No interest guy. I remember he would take me to auctions and when we brought the cars back to his shop I would deep clean and he’d give $50 every time. Now those times were different and not many minorities could afford expensive cars.

11:38 I owned one of those f150s, my grandparents gave it to me for my birthday when I wqs 16. I’m approaching 21 and gave that truck to my mom 4 months ago and bought a 21 Camry. That truck is still going strong, never gave me any real issues. I still miss that truck to this day.

The 97 thru 03 Ford 5.4L engine is a 2 valve engine like the 4.6 and is super reliable. The 5.4 3 valve starting in 04 have variable valve timing that caused lots of issues.

I have a 2011 Tahoe with 163k miles and a 2014 Tahoe with 208k. Both are Ex-police vehicles with superchargers and both run like new. Those V8 engines are bulletproof! You got a great deal!

Craig, you’re absolutely correct to bring a scanner with you to check the monitors. There is an awful a lot of people out there that play games. However, on the flipside. All somebody has to do is clear the system. Now it looks like somebody was trying to hide something. Makes all the monitors not ready😡Those are scammers within the auction. Just so they can buy the car cheap. They do a lot of terrible things. Remove fuses, cut wires, pull spark, plug wires. The list goes on sadly. Ron

I own an '03 F150 2WD 5.4L with 209k miles and I haven't had any problems except for a couple alternators in the last 5 years I've owned it.

Those Braun vans are made in my hometown. Company started by a handicap man who was determined and motivated to help people. They employ lots of people and the company has grown so much there aren’t enough people in the town to work there so they might have to move operations to a larger town.

28:00 boggles my mind too, they screwed the aluminum up for years and still switched F150 to aluminum. back in 08 the hoods on f150 were aluminum i think they were just testing it in the field to see how it would go.

You are correct, Craig, in that we Toyota and Lexus owners are a PITA and nit pick everything. I am even moreso with Lexus vehicles. "Has the brake actuator been replaced; what's the part # on it?" "What's the condition of all 8 control arms?" "Look behind the engine on top of the transmission bellhousing and see if there are any signs of pink coolant." LS460 🙂 And we know exactly what we want!
