Next to Sandy is Deacon Proudfoot who is the President of the Oakland California Chapter. We invite them on a show for their first television interview they ever agreed to in America. Sonny's saying, " treat me good and I'll treat you better, treat me bad and I'll treat you worse"

Geraldo made such a effort to paint them as a gang, even changing subjects back to make them look like the bad guys.

I know what you mean warden. 45 years later, I’m still not convinced Geraldo is a legitimate newsman.

If you treat a man with respect he is going to give respect.

8:07. There’s a 0.00% chance the warden thought Geraldo was an “undercover outlaw” 😂

Sandy Alexander passed away in 2007. Dekon Proudfoot passed away in 2009. Fu Griffin passed away in 1985. Sonny Barger is still alive and in his 80s. I remember Fu Griffin's funeral. It was huge. If memory serves me, Hell's Angels from all over the world attended. Dekon Proudfoot seemed the most articulate, Fu Griffin seemed the most soft spoken of the Angels interviewed. Sandy Alexander seemed the most hostile to Geraldo Rivera, and personally I couldn't blame him. Rivera has always come across as smug and contentious to everyone he has interviewed.

they're all individuals, but they have each other's back... sounds good. Nowadays, everyone is out to cut each other's throat so they can get ahead.

I've ran across a few and thought they were quiet and to themselves. Everybody is different which I can respect. When I was in the Navy we walked in packs overseas. The numbers generally can work for you or against you given the perception of others.

Some people in the comments dont see Geraldo's passive aggressive, sensationalizing, antagonistic, ridiculing arrogance. He chose his words just carefully enough to survive this 'interview'. I like the modern swing in 'journalism', where it's more of a casual conversation, as if sitting at a bar, rather than an interrogation. If Geraldo tried running this game on any of these guys, in a real world setting, there's less than a "1%" chance that he'd have the last word. He has balls, and loves to show them off. I think Springer figured out it's a lot safer to bring out 'opposing guests' than it is to oppose your guests. But the recipe was pretty similar, otherwise.

How do people get sentenced to 15years to life for drugs? But rapists and sexual predators in America are out in a year or 2 max

A real man doesn't need a gang to help him. A man stands alone. Works hard and takes care of his family.

Later in the show, they all break into Al Capones vault and find the end of Riveras career.

When Geraldo reached behind that large man for his knife, he's lucky that man didn't react...
Even I, no where near that mans size, would object to someone reaching behind me and pulling out something in my pocket...
