Good video Briggs; however, I think the characterization of women over 20 who are single is greatly misleading. It seems that the younger generations aren't marrying at nearly the rate of us Boomers, and such. So a woman may be single in the context of not being married, but that doesn't mean she's available for dating as she may well be in a committed relationship. I don't know if that is something that you can glean from all the stats, but it would be interested to know just how many single women over 20 in each state are actively dating vs. how many are in committed relationships. THAT is some vital information that a guy would really want to be aware of if he were planning on moving, or being relocated by job, military, etc.

As a former Maryland resident ( Baltimore County and Baltimore City) you are correct when it comes to female home ownership. I was fortunate to buy my first home at 27. But Baltimore women are unique. Living now in Virginia I find that the southern women tend to treat their men better and are more friendly. Baltimore is such a small city that you're bound to run into people who you've dated

Only problem with your stats on this one is the percentage of single women... those are based on what percentage is married... and just because they aren't married doesn't make them single. And most people these days are choosing to not get married.

Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi, and North Carolina might have a lot of women, but you failed to talk about just how many are fat. There's a shitload of overweight women in these states. Over the age of 20, divorced, and over 300 pounds with screaming kids, that is.

In 1985 on the 4th of July, I was at the high elevation lodge or visitor center on Mt. Rainier in Washington state. I saw an absolutely gorgeous blonde girl working at the restaurant there. I walked up to her and said "Wow, you are the first really beautiful woman I have seen in this state!" She blushed and said, "I'm from California. I'm just up here for the summer." All those rugged women that didn't make it to Alaska made it to Washington and said "close enough."

The only problem is that my standards are someone who's looking for emotional commitment and approaches romance with honesty and good faith. Someone who explicitly says "I like you" and not as a cruel joke or mental game.
Someone who meets the same standards that I hold myself to.
So far, no one else meets my standards.
