If the pins were painted it wouldn't bother me. When we get a spiderman and there's a big red peg on the blue it's annoying.

Hearing you talk about the ball pegs in the head and the joint pins makes me want a technical breakdown of action figure mechanics from you. Where you would take them apart, compare and contrast various joint/hinge/articulation designs, and explain all that. Not that I'd want to add to your workload but damn that would be so interesting to me.

Just checked, the arms were originally pinless in the first two-pack movie release.

This is, so far, the definitive Deadpool fig to me. And DP is drawn differently in different comics so he can be fudged in to a comic display as well if that suits someone's fancy, IMO. No pun intended...😁

Some people pose their figures in action not just in vanilla so the pins will definitely show especially if you’re taking photos you want it to look as seamless as possible. Which is also one of the reasons why cloth on figures are liked because it looks even more seamless when you articulate them even though it could be more hindered. Hasbro figures mostly aren’t made with maxim range anyway so it’s about the same regarding that.

I mean to be fair, all the action poses at the end have the pins sticking out like a sore thumb. Pinless is definitely better, they just need to do a better job paying attention to the details like matching colors

I have the first release and I can honestly say this is a must have for all collectors the figure is so fun to pose around and they give you so many options to work with

The pins never bother me because they're toys. And I like to collect toys, so I expect there to be pins.

At first I didn't care much about pin or no pin, but I realized most old Marvel Legends with pins are likely to have their limbs warped straight from the package, but the pinless joints are less likely to warp and more secured than pinned joints.

I think pinless joints became such a "thing" because Legends diehards (who refuse to save money on 2 or 3 Hasbro figures to opt for the import version) equate pinless to import quality, ignoring the fact that import elbows and knees have completely different engineering.

Hey Anthony, great honest review as always. If it's alright, can you explain why pinless joints would wear out faster than pinned joints? Though pinned or pinless does not really bother me that much, I would still personally prefer pinless because it is aesthetically pleasing (especially if the figure has multi colored limbs like Spider-man), and makes the joints more firm especially on the knee area. In my observation of my pinless figures, they don't tend to become bow legged compared to pinned figures especially female figures. Thanks!

Pins don’t really matter. For this figure there’s texturing on the suit that makes the pins not match, but it’s such a busy design that it’s fine. Nobody gripes to Mcfarlane about their pins. For this figure I have the original and I’m not picking it up since it’s a repaint, but I’m glad Hasbro is giving people a chance at it again (again again with the burned repaint)

I think this is probably one of hasbros best sculpts in the past few years, I know its pretty much a single release of the one that came in the 2-pack but its still great and honestly better than what hasbro has been releasing as of recent.

In my experience ive found the pin joints to wear out faster than the pinless so idk. Literally as ive been playing with this deadpool the knees got loose before the elbows

I don't like abominations like Cable or Forge, in the case of Forge one leg is pinless, the other isn't, in the case of Cable one arm is pinless, the other isn't, that's the big nonsense, and on females, they need to be pinless all the time, that's just a thing of stability. In this Deadpool, I don't care, there is a good balance of everything.

I already own the previous Deadpool release with Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and I love it even to this day. Also, IDC if an action figure has pins or not, even if sometimes it can be distracting like on Spider-Man. Also my friend and I are planning to see Deadpool and Wolverine.

This is my favourite marvel legend this year. Looks amazing, tons of accessories, moves extremely well, and just felt good value.
