Since updating my Galaxy S23 to One UI 7, battery life has seriously gone downhill. Before the update, I could easily get through a full day, but now I’m reaching for the charger by mid-afternoon—even with light to moderate use. I’ve tried everything: limiting background apps, enabling power saving mode, clearing the cache—nothing seems to work. It feels like One UI 7 introduced poorly optimized processes or animations that constantly drain power. Samsung really needs to fix this in a patch soon, because it’s ruining the experience on an otherwise excellent phone.
